I’m a few days off getting my period and craving any kind of chocolate I can get my hands on. So today I concocted up a recipe with the little food I had in the cupboard. I was so shocked how bloody delish these cookies were I just had to post them. This is the easiest quickest recipe ever. And I won’t make you scroll for hours to find the actual recipe. Here you go!

Ingredients:

1 cup of whole grain flour

1/4 cup of cocoa powder

1/3 cup of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/3 cup olive oil

1/4 cup of milk (I used coconut milk)

1 tablespoon of chia seeds mixed into 3 tablespoons of water

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Preheat over to 180 degrees fan bake
  2. Line a tray with baking paper
  3. Place all dried ingredients into a bowl
  4. Add all wet ingredients to dried ingredients
  5. Roll mixture into little balls and slightly flatten into a cookie shape on the tray (I made 12 cookies)
  6. Bake for 8 minutes (they will come out soft and then set to a crumbly melt in your mouth texture once cooled).
